MOH....Maid or Matron....

Mother's Day weekend was the start of a 3 week traveling extravaganza for Whitney, myself and the two dogs. We headed up to Schererville to spend some time with my family and to thank my mom, grandmother, and aunts for all the help with the wedding. My family tends to be very involved and I grew up that way....so I like it (most of the time:))

The weekend started with Whitney hanging out on the couch and Kelly (my B.F.F/bride-to-be) and I looking for bridesmaids dresses for her upcoming wedding in December. We could not be happier for Kelly and Gary to tie the knot! Saturday started with me the MOH getting to see Kelly's beautiful wedding gown. Boy, it is pretty and she makes it look fabulous....no pictures here because it is a surprise. We also tried on tons, I mean tons, of bridesmaid dresses. The good, the bad, and the ugly but we found the dress in the first store. Kelly is having a winter ice themed wedding and so ice blue is her main color and I pick a royal to go with it....she loved it! Glad I could be of assistance! After doing the dress thing, we had lunch, and shopped around like best friends do. I am so glad to help Kelly with her big day and return the favor as she was an amazing maid-of-honor in our wedding. To bad I have to be the MATRON( sounds old and baggy) of Honor...lol!
Sunday was family time at Aunt Sue's house before we left to head back to Indy. We unfortunately had to move the party here because my dad was stuck at home with the flu....and no it was not the SWINE flu! We had a wonderful time telling my family all about the honeymoon and rehashing the wedding. Thanks again to everyone for all of your wonderful help! We love you all!
