CLASS OF 2010

My cousin Julie graduated from The Indiana Academy of Science, Mathematics, & Humanities on memorial day weekend.  We attended her graduation ceremonies in Muncie, IN on Ball State's campus.  She will be attending Saint Mary's of Notre Dame this fall.  She is going to be a fine surgeon one day:) CONGRATS JULIE!!! I will miss picking you up for a dinner date at Puerta Vallarta!

And so it is.....

 

The month of May always sneaks upon us and here we are with our annual Indy 500 Party with so many great friends to see and visit with.  We started off Friday coming to the track with The Partenheimer's.  We set up camp and began the festivities!!

Summer Project

Whitney and I have begun our summer project that we have waited 3 years to do!  When we moved in we noticed our patio was cracking....not good.  We knew at some point we would love a nice deck to sit out on and enjoy nice weather.  Since we have 2 dogs, we knew the fence would need to come first.  This summer we are finally able to work on building a deck. 

Once we decided to do this project, we started looking for outdoor furniture.  We looked everywhere for something affordable and that we liked.  When we visited Schererville for my brothers induction to NHS, my mom showed me some furniture at Meijer and I loved it!  We came home and went to look at it at our Meijer and we were sold.  We got a great deal so we had to purchase it before the deck.  The patio is a bit crowded right now but this will not last too long:)

The month of May started off with my brother, Chris, being inducted to the National Honor Society.  Chris just finished his junior year at Lake Central and I just cannot believe he is going to be a senior!!!!  WOW!  This means I graduated 10 years ago!  CONGRATULATIONS BROTHER!  We are really proud of YOU!!:)

We've Made It!!!!!

Whitney and I celebrated one year of marriage on April 18th!!  It has really been the best year we could have asked for together! Whitney surprised me with dinner at the Weber Grill downtown and a stay at the Hilton.  It was so nice to get away for just a night and spend time together.   We had a fresh cake to enjoy on our anniversary courtesy of Heavenly Sweets and of course we broke out our beautiful champagne glasses too.

I surprised him with St. Louis Cardinals tickets and a stay in STL. We have not been to a game in The Lou since 2007 so I thought it was about time to make a trip!  In Saint Louis, we were able to catch up with our friends Greg, Kelly, and Baby Evan.  Whitney and Greg went golfing, while I hung out with Kelly and Evan.  We enjoyed a steamy Cardinals game in the sun and they came out with a victory!  We also had some delicious dinner downtown and what I thought was the coolest was our Anheiser Busch Brewmaster Tour to finish out our trip:)
