It's Beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

I thought I would put one more post up before the holidays of all of our Christmas Cheer around our house. We completed the outside lights back in November right before Thanksgiving because there is no way either of us were getting out there in weather so cold you can't feel your hands:) Our added element this year are the nets lights on the front bushes.

The indoor decorations took some time as we were both away for Thanksgiving and Whitney was working a ton recently. It is up now and we are enjoying both of our trees and of course our newly added furniture. The chairs and ottomans are a perfect set for our family room. The challenge is to really keep the dogs off! Take a close look at where our stockings are hanging and you can see the new photos of us back at our wedding in April....has it really been 8 months already?! We are looking to add more wedding pictures soon! The nativity and the table decorations are an added bonus. I actually did not put out as much as I normally do:)

United Christmas Party & An Early Christmas Present for the Neukam's

The weekend of December 5th Whitney's company United Consulting held its annual Christmas Party at the Indianapolis Arts Garden. A wonderful dinner was served as we watched the Noblesville Orchestra perform. The evening ended with a raffle but Whitney and I were not lucky enough to win anything this year. Maybe next time. Sorry, we did not take any pictures of us all dressed up:(

This same weekend we set out to look for our new bedroom furniture....we found everything we wanted in one day. We even bought some new family room chairs. Pictures of the family room to come later....we had to exchange the chairs for different ones due to the color not matching. This was sort of an early Christmas present to us as it was delivered this past Friday:)

Kelly's Bachelorette Weekend!!!!!

The weekend started with getting trial runs done on our hair for the wedding. We went to color room Friday morning to get our updos and then had some lunch at Kelly's parents house. Then we pack up the SUV with Kelly, Lauren, Candace, Christy, and myself and headed downtown Chicago. I should have taken a picture of my SUV as it was packed to the brim with party supplies and of course us. Thanks to Candace for making great music to drive downtown:)

I had to leave the camera in the hotel for the rest of the evening but it really was a great time. I will have to get the pictures from Kelly that we took in the lobby of the hotel and out at the bars. We had the best time and the best cab driver, Darryl. He picked us up everywhere and dropped us off anywhere we wanted. What a great find! The next morning the we cleaned up and checked out to head to Kelly's dress fitting. I do have pictures of this but I can't show until after the wedding. I will have to have a post of all the pre-wedding pictures I could not put up! I can't wait....the wedding is in 6 days! My speech is ready and I can't wait to see my BFF marry her soulmate this coming Saturday!

Thanksgiving

The Puggle & The Princess:)

This year Whitney and I spent Thanksgiving apart:( I went up north with Lacy and he traveled down south with Lucy. We did this because I was throwing my best friend Kelly her Bachelorette Party downtown Chicago after Thanksgiving and would not be around much. We decided heading our separate ways was okay so we could each see part of the family!

I had a great time with my family on Thanksgiving eating great food and playing some good board games:) I got pictures of the dogs but no humans....hmmmm but they are so cute:)

COLTS VS. TEXANS

Whitney and I were invited to go to a Colts Game on November 8th with Korey and Kelly! This would be my first time seeing the Colts in action at Lucas Oil Stadium. Great seats, great fun, great family:) Thanks again Korey and Kelly <3
