Meet......the beautiful

Isia Louise Sevier

Our friends Cassidy and Cory had Isia on July 9, 2009! We just couldn't wait to meet her. She is only 5 days old in these pictures and I just wanted to post them because she is so precious! We thoroughly enjoyed visiting with the Seviers and their new addition. It was really nice to sit and chat together and catch up. Thanks again Cass and Cory for letting us meet your bundle of joy!!!Baby feet are the best....so tiny but will grow so fast.

Meet Cousin Addie

Addison Hope Cornwell
This is my cousin Julie's new puppy. She is a 2 pound Yorkie. When I was visiting my family I took Lacy with and introduced her to a dog 5 times smaller than her....that was a first for Lacy. She did well with the puppy considering Addie continuously tried to nibble on Lacy's feet and tail.

Kings Island, Crab Fest, & 4th of July

I guess you could say this was that mini vacation I was looking for since the wedding and honeymoon to Jamaica. Whitney and I took three days on the weekend of the 4th of July to hang out, have fun, and visit some family. We started early Friday morning and headed to Cincinnati to King's Island with my brother Chris. We used the entire day to ride some great roller coasters and visit the water park. I think the ride of the day was Diamondback, a new coaster at the park. WOW!!! We rode it twice! I will say Whitney and I were not up to riding those big coasters over and over, but my brother was gung-ho.....so we tried to hang in there for his sake! That evening we were exhausted and made the short trip to Dayton where our hotel was located. It was a really nice hotel:)

CRAB FEST 2009
Saturday was the fourth and we headed to the Durick household to celebrate! It was not the weather we were hoping for but we still managed to have a great time. Beer, jello shots, and crab were the main dish, along with some land food. Whitney tried his best at the adventure of eating Maryland blue crab but I did not. Something about digging out crab insides was just not my thing, but I still had plenty of great food:)
Archie- Andy & Christine's dog...isn't he cute?!

So when the rain let up we decided to try our hand at crochet...it was actually a good time!
